What is the ACCUPLACER and TSIA2 Multi-Factor Authentication Requirement?
Beginning in December 2025, multi-factor authentication (MFA) will be introduced, and all ACCUPLACER and TSIA2 users (except for the Webservice user role) will be required to use MFA by March 1, 2026.
This enhancement is designed with our users in mind—safeguarding proctor and staff accounts while ensuring ACCUPLACER testing remains a trusted, secure experience for students and institutions. To authenticate using MFA, required users will use a code that’s sent to either the email or cell number designated and will reauthenticate once every 90 days.
